Responsibilities: Narrative Designer

  • Helping shape high-level overarching stories for upcoming features, events,

    and/or large content releases

  • Proactively contributing in brainstorming sessions and writers’ rooms by pitching ideas for researched, on-brand story arcs and quests within limited art and design scope

  • Integrating inventive writing with design to support both creative and monetization objectives

  • Working directly with Product, Design, Production, Art, and Animation to coordinate all facets of

  • Creating narrative plots, characters, and stories with F2P mobile business goals in mind

  • Innovating with high accuracy across multiple iterations, addressing feedback, incorporating notes,

    and executing revisions from internal teams and external partners

  • Structuring and write storing pitches, outlines, character-driven scripts, and ancillary copy within tight deadlines, owning the process from concept to final product

  • Communicating the narrative vision of the game’s Lead Designers verbally and in writing, across internal departments and with external brand partners

Tail of True Love

This is a full gameplay play through for one of the many in-game events I wrote as a narrative designer. Everything from the concept, narrative outline, and line-by-line dialogue was written and edited by me.

Responsibilities: Associate Game Designer II

Content Design

  • Constructed visual gameplay sequences and content with close attention to artistic and narrative detail.

  • Worked with existing narrative and design specifications to set up interactive 3D scenes with thought to camera compositions, transitions, and ambient animations.

  • Collaborated with technical, narrative, and art teams to ensure the best execution and practices.

  • Found creative solutions to create the most dramatic and fun experience with provided tools.

  • Configured scripted events, animations, and dialogue sequences on schedule with release dates and milestones.

Narrative Support

  • Worked with art to ensure creative cohesion while implementing art assets in-game.

  • Created mood boards to flesh out characters in the concept phase to provide inspiration and reference for artists.
